Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor was in critical condition Monday night after he was shot at his home in Miami, the National Football League team and Miami authorities said. The 24-year-old defensive player was in intensive care in a Miami hospital after nearly six hours of emergency surgery to repair a severed femoral artery.
